Sussex County Miners Campaign

Challenge

The Sussex County Miners came to BLDG needing a visual campaign for the 2026 season that could finally do justice to their baseball experience. Baseball entertainment is having a cultural moment, with teams like the Savannah Bananas proving that the entertainment around the game can be just as compelling as the game itself. The Miners occupy a unique space in that world: professional ball with a genuinely wild, one-of-a-kind ballpark experience, but no consistent visual language to communicate it. Word-of-mouth was doing all the heavy lifting, and the brand needed to stop describing the fun and start looking like it.

Solution

To bring the loud, high-energy, and just a little reckless experience of Miners baseball to life visually. Working with BLDG's campaign strategy, I developed the visual direction for the 2026 "Peak Jersey: It's a Blast" campaign, building on the team's existing identity while expanding it through typography, photography treatment, and graphic elements that matched the experience at Skylands Stadium. Compositions layer the full cast of the ballpark together to show just how much is packed into a single night. The result was a campaign toolkit flexible enough for social, signage, promotions, and more, but unified enough to finally give audiences beyond Sussex County a reason to make the drive.
